As the technical partner for Blue State, we at DXDY were thrilled to play a crucial role in helping CARE increase awareness and funds for their mission to fight poverty and empower women and girls around the world.

CARE faced a significant challenge in raising awareness and funds for their mission. Despite their incredible work, the organization had a lack of visibility, limited resources for fundraising, and struggled to connect with younger donors.

To address these challenges, CARE partnered with Blue State, a digital strategy and communications agency, to develop a comprehensive fundraising and advocacy campaign. DXDY played a critical role in the partnership by developing a user-friendly, visually appealing website that effectively showcased CARE’s work and mission. We worked tirelessly to ensure that the website was optimized for search engines and easy to navigate, making it easier for potential donors to find and donate to the cause.

But perhaps the most significant contribution from DXDY was the development and management of the CARE Action Network platform. This peer-to-peer fundraising platform enabled supporters to create their own campaigns and share them on social media, while also providing a virtual reality experience that allowed donors to see the impact of CARE’s work in the field.

Together with Blue State’s multi-channel approach that included creating powerful videos and infographics that showcased CARE’s impact and an email marketing strategy to reach CARE’s existing donor base and encourage them to spread the word about the organization’s mission, the campaign was a resounding success, exceeding its initial fundraising and engagement goals.

Over six months, CARE raised over $4.5 million from more than 30,000 individual donors, and the organization also saw a significant increase in engagement on social media, with over 5 million impressions and 1 million video views. The CARE Action Network proved to be particularly successful in engaging younger donors. The platform generated over 700 individual fundraising campaigns, with 60% of those campaigns created by first-time donors. The virtual reality experience was also a powerful tool, with over 10,000 people using the platform to see the impact of CARE’s work.
